- Why would I join the GREEK UNITY CRUISE 2010 hosted by N 2 GREEK instead of booking directly with Carnival or forming my own group?
- GREAT QUESTION! N 2 GREEK’s motto is: ‘We serve those who serve our community”. With that said, we have chosen a worthy organization and this is a fundraiser to help keep the doors open for a teen center in New Orleans. Too much to list here, but visit their website and you will see why Carnival is excited to match contributions for this non-profit organization! Also, how else would you network with other Greeks and enjoy entertainment designed especially for you?
- Do I have to be Greek to go on the cruise?
- No, you don’t have to be in a fraternity or sorority to join us. All events for the GREEK UNITY CRUISE 2010 will be geared toward members of the “Divine 9”, but you are more than welcome to attend and participate. Besides, there are so many on-board activities; you’ll have your choice of fun.
- Can I bring my children?
- Absolutely! Although we do not have any planned children’s events during our vacation, Carnival provides multiple programs and activities for minors under the age of 18.
- Minimum age for sailing is 6 months, with the exceptions of Transatlantic, Hawaii and South American cruises, which are 12 months. This is a company policy which takes into consideration the safety and comfort of the infant as well as the other guests. Carnival has fully researched the legality of the policy and it is not discriminatory and does not violate any applicable law. Carnival will not make exceptions and do not allow for the signing of waivers or releases to make an exception to the policy.
- What if I’m not 21?
- Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older.
- What should I wear?
- Casual attire is the order of the day. We suggest shorts, sundresses, tank tops, etc. for the ladies, and for men; shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, etc. will do. We suggest you wear rubber-soled, low heeled or flat shoes for extra traction while onboard. The use of any footwear with wheels, including but not limited, to Heelys© shoes, is prohibited on board our ships. For dining you may want to dress up a bit and/or bring along a light sports jacket or cardigan.
- Most evenings we have a Cruise Casual dress code, but there are those Cruise Elegant evenings one or two nights throughout your “Fun Ship” voyage, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your more elegant attire. For those who want casual attire for dinner time, the Lido Restaurant is open nightly, and has a more relaxed theme. However, shirts and shoes/footwear (flip-flops) must be worn at all times inside the Lido Restaurant.
- You may also want to be prepared for any excursions or special events as some have attire requirements and restrictions. Check out the GREEK UNITY CRUISE 2010 events to ensure that you are ready for our events as well.
- What is an excursion? How do I book one?
- Excursions are trips offered by Carnival Cruise Lines once you arrive at a destination. Once you have paid your initial non refundable deposit, you will receive a confirmation email with further information. Excursions are an additional cost.

PRICING & PAYMENTS |

- I just found out about this great opportunity to cruise. Is it too late to join in?
- No way! The final payment for those joining us on the cruise is due June 5, 2010. Anyone can join us until this deadline as long as we have cabins available. However, keep in mind that your total payment is determined by your date of booking, so book early!
- I booked my cruise through Carnival Cruise Lines, how do I get information about the Greek Unity Cruise Activities?
- You can’t. Unfortunately, only those who book their cruise directly from GREEK UNITY CRUISE 2010 are allowed to participate in our events. So, be sure to book with us so you don’t miss any of the fun.
- I told my friends about the cruise, but their total cost is more expensive. Why?
- Cruise prices are determined by your date of booking. Anyone who books before the initial deadline of October 5, 2009 are guaranteed our low published prices. Individuals who book after the deadline are subject to the prices available at the time of booking.
- I missed one of the payment deadlines. Does this mean I can no longer go?
- Of course not. The initial deadline locks in your price and you must be paid in full by June 5, 2010. All other deadlines are for your convenience. However, if you miss a deadline, you will receive a friendly reminder from N 2 GREEK.
- I want to get a group from my chapter together. Do we all have to pay together?
- No way! Getting everyone together can be such a hassle. Just submit your payment and email us at cruise@myn2greek.com with your full name and the full names of those who will be in your stateroom or group. We will take care of the rest.
- My friends and I paid to share a 4 person room, but now we are only 3. What happens next?
- Cruise prices are determined by the number of individuals staying in a room. Should the number increase or decrease, your total cost will reflect the change. If you would like, N 2 GREEK can help you find a roommate. Just send us an email with the updated information.
- Something came up and I can’t join the cruise anymore. Can I get a refund?
- Cancellation penalties apply to all guests in a stateroom and are assessed in the event of either partial or full stateroom cancellations. Percentage penalty charged applies to your payment as follows: Carnival applies a 50% penalty for this sailing if there is a cancellation after 5/27/2010; and a full penalty if the cancellation occurs after 6/18/2010.
- There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation by guests after the start of the cruise. We strongly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance; just email us at cruise@myn2greek.com for additional information and pricing for the cancellation insurance.
